The IS-Group supplies high performance wiring, interconnect and fastener products for use in a range of technically demanding applications in industries including Defence & Aerospace, Motorsport, Energy and General Industrial. The IS-Group also supplies a range of its own manufactured products, including flexible braided products and multi-core cables.
Designers and consultants of high value equipment need special interconnect products which produce consistently reliable power outputs or signals, often in high temperature environments or other harsh operating conditions. Our goal is to supply the designers and constructors with the right product for a particular application. This requires a significant level of technical expertise and an extensive and varied inventory.
IS-Rayfast products include irradiated wire and cable, protective tubing material with memory properties that enable it to shrink to fit a particular wire bundle and identification tabs capable of withstanding extreme operating conditions. Added value services range from a printing bureau for larger quantities of identification tabs through to the management of the design and construction of complex multi-core cables.
Cabletec’s traditional business is the distribution of a range of specialised wiring and harness components, very similar to those supplied by IS-Rayfast. In addition, Cabletec supplies a range of manufactured products, including flexible braided products and multicore cables.
Clarendon supplies fasteners, components and seals to the Motorsport sector, supplying most of the Formula 1 teams as well as other series in the UK, Continental Europe and the US. IS-Connect is located in Indianapolis to serve the Motorsport market in the US, as well as other specialised technical applications.
A representative office has been set up in Beijing, China with an initial focus on Aftermarket requirements in the Commercial Aerospace and Industrial sectors.

Sommer is located in Stuttgart and operates from a consolidated sales and warehousing operation close to Stuttgart airport and the "Neue Messe Stuttgart" (New Trade Fair Stuttgart). Sommer supplies high performance wiring and other interconnect products. A range of value added services enhance the customer offering including marking of protective sleeves, cut-to-length tubing, kitting and prototype quantities of customised multi-core cables.
Sales offices have been established in Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt.
